pet_of_month.jpgPET DAY CARE

None of who have pets would dispute that fact they are very important family members and because they are we want what is best for them. For any families both adults work at full time daytime jobs and we are very concerned about what to do with our pets, especially our dogs, while we are gone these long hours. Many of us would not get a dog as a companion because we are gone most or all of the day. Fortunately for those of us who have cats, this is not a problem, since cats are very self sufficient and is quite content to stay at home by themselves for the day and up to several days with the proper food, water, and clean litter.

Fortunately there a number of options for us so that are pets get the care and attention that they need and deserve. Pet sitters have become very popular, as have "Doggie Day Care" centers. Pet sitters will come into our homes and feed and care lab3.jpgfor our pets while we are gone. This way our pets get the needed attention and they can stay at home. Another popular option is the doggie day care facility. They work much the same as day care centers for children, so that pet "parents" can drop off their "kids" in the morning and pick them up in the evening. The dogs have supervised play time, feeding time, and rest time. In addition, some of the facilities have availability for extended stays when the family needs to go out of town.

Pet sitters will be happy to discuss their services and fees, as well as the day care centers and they are happy to give you a tour of their facility.
