Strongsville Pet Wellness Care Key to Happy Petsvaccination, pet dental, pet nutrition

Here at Crossroads Animal Hospital in Strongsville, we believe prevention should be the number one priority for our clinic and for pet owners.

We do everything we can to help pets avoid illness and injury by providing high-quality pet wellness care and by educating our pets’ families about things they can do at home to help their pets stay healthy. Vaccinations and pet dental care are two of the major preventative care services we provide to pets in the Strongsville, Middleburg Heights, North Royalton and Berea communities. We also help pets’ families understand how critical pet nutrition is to keeping their special family members strong, happy and healthy for many years to come.

From Pet Dental and Vaccinations to Pet Nutrition, We Help Strongsville Pets Stay Healthy

Our Strongsville Pet Wellness Care program focuses on the things we can do to help pets avoid getting sick in the first place. Wellness care helps pets and their families avoid hassle and extra expenses, but most of all, the difficulty and sadness of seeing a family member suffer an illness that was preventable. Pet dental care, vaccinations, parasite prevention, pet nutrition and orthopedics are all important facets of our program.

Pet Dental care, for example, is one of our major services here at the Animal Hospital. We provide full dental services such as dental checkups, digital dental x-rays and oral surgery. Dental care is just as important in preventing disease in pets as it is for humans, so we also educate families about brushing a pet’s teeth so keep them clean and prevent dental problems and diseases from occurring.

are a critical preventative measure we provide for the pets in our area, not only because it is the law in many communities, but also because these immunizations prevent deadly diseases that can be spread from pets to their families. From Rabies, Distemper and Parvo to Bordetella, we can advise pet owners as to which immunizations their pets need, and when. In addition to regularly-scheduled immunizations, we provide families with medications that help with pest and parasite control (anti-flea and tick medications, heartworm and other parasite preventatives).

Pet Nutrition is a critical aspect of the education we provide for our pets families because proper nutrition can help pets avoid many preventable diseases that stem from poor nutrition and obesity and also helps them recover from illness. The proper diet gives a pet the vitamins, minerals and nutrients it needs to help its body stave off infections and stay healthy and active.

Of course, we realize that even with the best pet wellness care measures, not every injury or illness is preventable. So our veterinary team is highly-skilled and trained to help sick and injured pets. From orthopedics to laser surgery and everything in between, we provide experienced, compassionate care to every animal that comes through our doors. We invite pet lovers throughout the area to call us at (440) 783-8546 to discuss their pet’s health and wellness needs!
